We are now providing fast shotgun metagenomics service using Oxford Nanopore technology.

Unlike other metagenomic services that take many days (or weeks!) to get back data, we will deliver data back the next day.

Are you providing purified genomic DNA?

Please ensure that you provide at least 500 ng of high quality DNA. Ideally quantified by Qubit (Nanodrop can overestimate).

Do you want us to do the gDNA extraction?

Give us 5 mL of your fermentation sample and we can do the genomic DNA extraction.

How much ONT nanopore data will you generate?

We will target about 100 Megabases of raw fastq nanopore data. We then do bioinformatic analysis and will send you a microbial detection report by email.
